Love of Christ Outreach projects cover the works of many members and friends of the church. One of these programs is the service offered to Runn Elementary School of Donna, Tx. Volunteers mentor students. The church sponsors "The Sharing Place" a room where many donated items (clothing, quilts, blankets, bicycles, etc.) from Winter Texan home churches are contributed. Prior to Christmas the church throws a big Party with gifts to all the children. The church has even contributed to medical expenses for students without  resources to helpthemselves.

Below is a collage of  a recent party...Notice the smiles on everyone - students, parents, faculty, and members of Love of Christ!!

Other local outreach projects include "Souper Sunday" drives to aid the Rio Grande Food Bank and the Progresso, Tx. Community Center.

A FUN PROJECT held in February was the Rio Grande Lutheran Border Fest . Border Fest involved all of the Lutheran Churches on both sides of the Mexican/United States border.
